Marsh Set to Acquire Bluefin Insurance Group from AXA UK plc

Marsh has announced their plan to acquire Bluefin Insurance Group from AXA UK plc. The acquisition is still pending approval but is expected to be carried out by the end of the first quarter of 2017.

Marsh intends to combine Bluefin with Jelf, which they cquired a year ago, into a single company led by Jelf CEO, Phil Barton. The integration of the two companies is set to form a leading community of brokers for local and international insurance for all sizes of companies in the UK.
