Air Alliance Medflight expands to the United Kingdom

Air Alliance Medflight, an air ambulance company under the Air Alliance Group, has opened an office in Birmingham.

It will operate from Birmingham Airport, where there will initially be two Learjets 35A equipped with double stretcher configuration. All client requests will be handled centrally by Medflight’s Alarm Center in Germany.

Led by Medical Director, Dr Jon Warwick and Clinical Services Manager, David Quayle, the UK-based aeromedical team also comprises Chief Flight Nurse, Tiina Kauhanen and Jane Topliss. “Dr Warwick and his team will enable us to work very closely with our clients and help with specialist services such as hospital admissions and road ambulance bookings in the UK and ROI,” said Wolfgang Krombach, Managing Director at Air Alliance Medflight.

Headquartered at Siegerland Airport, Air Alliance Medflight has another base at the airport of Cologne and operates a fleet of 15 air ambulance aircraft at present.
