Expatriate Group Announces New Shorter Term Policies

Expatriate Group’s IPMI plan is now available for periods as short as three months. Expatriate Group announced the new flexible terms of their international health insurance plans effective immediately as an initiative to support this regularly requested service.

This new short term policy aims to support short term assignments overseas, students abroad who are moving for a limited amount of time, as well as frequent travellers for medical tourism.

Expatriate Group’s Director, Lee Gerry comments:

“This is an initiative by the Expatriate Group Customer Care team, who have highlighted that this is something that’s regularly requested by new members.

Travel polices might not work in all cases, as the aim, in the event of a claim, is to get the customer back to their home country for treatment. Whereas the short term iPMI policy allows customers receive local medical treatment without any break in their obligations overseas”.
