Aetna Announces Completion of Bupa Thailand Acquisition

Aetna completed the acquisition of Bupa Thailand yesterday for an undisclosed sum. This acquisition is part of Aetna’s strategy to expand in Asia and delve deeper into the local healthcare market in the region.

Bupa Thailand provides Aetna with in-depth knowledge of local healthcare, culture, and system and will ultimately be valuable to Aetna’s strategy in increasing their presence in Asia.
