Chubb’s Phillip Brain now to Lead BHSI’s Foray to A&H in Asia

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. (BHSI) has appointed Phillip Brain to lead its new expansion to the Accident & Health (A&H) market in Asia.

As the Head of A&H in the region, he will follow BHSI’s strategy to focus on broker-distributed group personal accident and business travel products, and expand its suite of A&H products at a later stage.

Most recently, Phillip was the Vice President, A&H Group Manager at Chubb, Asia Pacific. Before that, he has also held A&H, underwriting and product management roles that cover various AIG’s geographical areas worldwide.

“Phillip has extensive experience in all aspects of the A&H space, from product underwriting and innovation, to technology,” said Marc Breuil, president, BHSI, Asia. “With his leadership, we look forward to establishing an A&H team that will provide employees and employers throughout Asia with meaningful tailored solutions, backed by BHSI’s service, stability and financial strength.”
