Aetna International Announces Appointment for Newly Created Role

Aetna International announced the appointment of David Healy for the newly created role of CEO for the EMEA region. Mr Healy has been Aetna International’s General Manager for Europe as well as Vice President of global operations. Before joining Aetna in 2012, Mr Healy was the CEO of AEGON Ireland and held top positions in other European companies such as Scottish Equitable International Luxembourg, and J Rothschild International. 

Mr Healy will be leading Aetna International’s expansion of international business in the EMEA region, focusing on international health benefits and health management solutions.

Mr Healy comments:

“In order to support our strategy to scale-up our capabilities, work with stakeholders on further developing healthcare infrastructure and create greater access to the right healthcare solutions, we have implemented a new structure by creating an EMEA region.

“Not only will this allow us to leverage our strengths and give our people the best environment to contribute and develop, it will also allow faster decision-making, more regional empowerment and accountability and put our customer groups at the heart of everything we do – including brokers.”
